Liebster Awards - Discover New Blogs

Hey everyone!

This post is slightly different from my other uploads.  I was nominated to answer questions for the Liebster Awards by AnnieChanie, so thank you for the nomination Annie! Also, go check out her post and blog, which I have linked to her name.  I have been so excited to do this post and to be involved with this since I saw I was nominated, as not only to help others gain readers, but also to make new friends who all have a passion for blogging!

Annie's Questions were:
1. Who is your favourite fictional character?

I would say my favourite fictional character is Penny from Zoella's series of Girl Online.  I think she's my favourite as throughout the three books, Penny appears to be very relatable to teenagers. 

2. Are you a night owl or an early bird?

I am an early bird, I always tend to wake up fairly early, no matter what time I go to sleep.  Although it can be annoying if I go to bed late and wake up early, I do really like being up early, as it is normally quiet about.

3. What's the best present you've ever received?

The best present I have ever received is probably my Bose SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker as I use it all the time, whether I'm listening to music, watching YouTube, or watching TV, I just think it is amazing!!

4. What's your favourite holiday (Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, etc...)?

My favourite holiday is definitely Christmas, as I just love the festive season! I love baking festive snacks and food, and I love wearing festive colours and clothes. 

5. Do you know any languages/ what languages do you wish you could speak?

I can speak a tiny bit of Welsh, as I live in Wales, however I cannot fluently speak it.  I would like to speak Welsh more fluently, German, French and Italian.

6. What's your favourite part about blogging?

My favourite part of blogging is being able to share my favourite things with readers, and also having a hobby, and sharing a passion for blogging with other bloggers and making new friends.

7. What dessert could you eat for the rest of your life?

I absolutely love having a chocolate brownie, it's my favourite dessert ever, so definitely a brownie!

8. Who is someone you look up to?

I know it's more than one person, but I always look up to all of my family♡.

9. What's one thing on your bucket list?

One thing on my bucket list that I have always want to do is travel.  There are so many places I want to visit!

10. What's an achievement you're really proud of?

I don't really think this is one of the best achievements to choose, but at the moment it's the only one I can think of.  So one achievement I am proud of is achieving grades A-C in my GCSEs.  I am proud of this because at the time, I was not thinking positively about them at all, and was sure I was going to fail, so I was over the moon when I received my results!

11. If you could travel back in time, where would you go?

I don't want to sound silly, but if I could go back to a time in my life, it would be to when I was doing my GCSEs, as I would tell myself to be a bit more organised, and take more time to relax and not stress as much as I did.  (As I got so stressed and worried when I was doing my exams.)

College Experience

Hey everyone! I'm very sorry that there hasn't been a blog post for the passed two weeks, I have been busy with college and getting back into the routine. Better late than never I suppose?! But I will be trying to get a post up every week when I have time and get into a routine. Everyone has been back to school/college for three weeks now (well in the UK), and I hope you've had a good time back so far! So as the title says, I'm going to share my experience of college this year so far, and hopefully it may help some of you for when you are faced with similar situations. My Favourite Quotes

Hey everyone! If you've just gone back to school/college, I hope you had a good first week back! I've always been into reading quotes, and absolutely love anything that has a quote written on! I could spend hours looking at quotes, and recently I have been going through a stage where all I want to do is look through and read quotes.  I have so many favourites, and I find each ones can mean a lot. Obviously everyone has different opinions, and you may think differently to me, so I will just say what I think of these quotes. College Experience Update

Hey everyone! I'm very sorry that there hasn't been a blog post for a while now.  I have been very busy and I didn't have a lot of time to post.  However, now I have finished the first year of my course at college, I have time to write posts.  I am hoping I can post consistently throughout the summer! This post relates to my previous  College Experience  post where I spoke about my whole experience.  At the end of that blog post I noted that I would update my experience accordingly through the year.  So, as I have finished the first year of my course, I thought it was a perfect time to reflect on the year and let you know my experience of college and completing a course so far.    At the start of the course it is so important to mix with the class so you can find friends and bond as a group.  I found this difficult at the start of the year as I had so little confidence, however, I pushed myself to speak to my classmates and it helped me so much! 2018/2019 Goals

Hey everyone! This is going to be a post on what I hope to achieve in 2018-2019, and what I am hoping to do throughout the year. I apologise for not being active on my blog in months, but so much has been happening, I really have struggled to find the time.  However, I really will try to make the time to write posts this year.  I originally was going to post this post at the start of 2018, but I never got the chance to finish writing it. So, lets get to the goals... 1.  Complete my course Sounds a bit silly, but I really want to finish my course with the a good grade that reflects my hard work and motivation to the course.  I am aiming for high grades, so it will be disappointing if I do not achieve the grades I am hoping for...but I don't there is nothing I can do and all I can do is just try my best. 2. Self-belief

Hey everyone! This post is going to be all about self-believe, self confidence and a positive mindset.  Self belief is something I personally find difficult to do.  This is because I tend to put myself down and think that I cannot achieve whatever it is that I am trying to do or working towards.  I think that this is an important topic and that I can express my experience as to how I have become more confident in myself and hopefully help others to believe in themselves.  Although I have gained more self belief, I still do not have a lot of self belief and I think this is down to the fact I like to see progress and when things don't work out it can be difficult to believe it will work. Where Have I Been?!?!

Hey everyone! I am so so so sorry for not having a post uploaded for the last couple of weeks, even months.  Lately I have been super busy. This will probably be a short post, but all this is, is to tell you guys what I've been up to and why I haven't uploaded anything. However if I stay organised, I will hopefully get back into regular uploads! So, I'll get into discussing where I've been... Firstly, starting back at college...like I mentioned in a previous blog post, I started a new course, and I have been trying to stay organised with that, and I have have quite a lot of work to do since starting.  I do really enjoy my course though, which helps! Hey everyone! Recently, I have been reading a lot as I have been enjoying it, so I decided to share the books I am wanting to read after I finish my current book, which is Anne Frank - The diary of a young girl (which I bought in Amsterdam at the museum).  And also, reading has always been one of my hobbies. My Trip to Amsterdam!

Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed my last post, which was ' Places I'd Like To Visit '. As you can tell from the title, this post is about my trip to Amsterdam. I will talk about my whole experience, from flying, to arriving, to the things I did and leaving. I'm just going to go straight into the post because I'm so excited to be writing about this! It was honestly the most incredible experience, and I definitely would like to go back there.  I had been waiting for months to go, since it was booked, and when the time finally came to leave for the airport I was ecstatic! I went for 3 days, so 4 nights, but I will talk about the day I went and the day I left. I will also include some photos I took. 😊 Day 1:   I wasn't really nervous about flying until we were queuing to board the   plane. Places I'd Like To Visit

Hey everyone! Earlier this week I was kind of torn on what post to upload today, so I decided to run a poll on twitter (@mydailylife_123) and the idea with the most votes was 'Places I'd like to visit', so I will just talk about a few of places I'd like to visit (no particular order), and any sights I'd like to see, as I LOVE sightseeing! Who doesn't though?!
