Reading List

Hey everyone! Recently, I have been reading a lot as I have been enjoying it, so I decided to share the books I am wanting to read after I finish my current book, which is Anne Frank - The diary of a young girl (which I bought in Amsterdam at the museum).  And also, reading has always been one of my hobbies. I've always been a big reader, but I find I go through stages of wanting to read loads, and other times I only want to read a few pages or not at all.  So, I'm just going to list 10 books I want to read, and I will link them all.  Once I have read these books listed, I may do a book review post, so lookout for book reviews! 1. The Fault In Our Stars - John Green Ever since watching the film, I have wanted to read the book.  I recently purchased the book, and cannot wait to read it! I would also like to read more of John Green's novels. 2. What You See Is What You Get - Alan Sugar After watching the apprentice this year, I wanted to read an Alan Sugar b...

My Trip to Amsterdam!

Image
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed my last post, which was ' Places I'd Like To Visit '. As you can tell from the title, this post is about my trip to Amsterdam. I will talk about my whole experience, from flying, to arriving, to the things I did and leaving. I'm just going to go straight into the post because I'm so excited to be writing about this! It was honestly the most incredible experience, and I definitely would like to go back there.  I had been waiting for months to go, since it was booked, and when the time finally came to leave for the airport I was ecstatic! I went for 3 days, so 4 nights, but I will talk about the day I went and the day I left. I will also include some photos I took. 😊 Day 1:   I wasn't really nervous about flying until we were queuing to board the   plane. I didn't feel that calm until we landed but the flight overall was really good, and it was a short flight too. When we arrived in Amsterdam, I was still a little...

Places I'd Like To Visit

Hey everyone! Earlier this week I was kind of torn on what post to upload today, so I decided to run a poll on twitter (@mydailylife_123) and the idea with the most votes was 'Places I'd like to visit', so I will just talk about a few of places I'd like to visit (no particular order), and any sights I'd like to see, as I LOVE sightseeing! Who doesn't though?! I decided to have this as one of the posts to upload, because I am very interested in travel/travelling, and one day I would like to have the opportunity to visit many different countries. Firstly, one place I would like to visit, and have always wanted to is New York, and I'm sure everyone else wants to go too.  I would love to visit New York around Christmas time, I just think it would look amazing.  Of course it would look amazing anytime of the year, but I just think being there around Christmas time would be nice, as it would look pretty. In New York I would like to see a few of the well know...

My Pamper Night Routine

Image
Hey everyone! I am very sorry that there hasn't been a post for around a week, I have been very busy recently. For this post, I thought I would share my 'pamper night routine'.  We all know how nice it is to have a night to completely relax, and do whatever you feel like. Firstly, if I am wearing makeup, I like to remove it with my Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil . I really like this to remove makeup and it makes your skin soft, and definitely removes all the makeup, however you do need to ensure you wash all the product off as it is oily.  I would recommend this product though! On a pamper night I also love to have a face mask.  As my skin is quite sensitive, I am still looking for a face mask that doesn't agitate my skin.  One of the face masks that is fine for my skin is the Tea Tree Witch Hazel with active charcoal mask .  I like this face mask as it really makes your skin feel soft.  While the face mask is drying, I like to either watch YouT...

My Favourite Youtubers and Bloggers

Hey everyone! For this post I have decided to share my favourite Youtubers and Bloggers.  I'm not sure about you, but I love finding out new Youtubers to watch, or new blogs to read, so it is why I decided on writing them in a post.  Most of the Youtubers I am going to mention are quite well known, so yoou have probably heard of them, but I still wanted to make this post anyway.  I hope you enjoyed my post last week, which was 'Ways To Destress' and if you haven't already, please go check it out!  http://mydailylife1231.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/ways-to-destress.html Youtubers: I love watching Youtube, so I have quite a few different favourite Youtubers. I'm not going to mention them in any particular order, it's just going to be random.  I will link their channels to their names. Firstly, one of my favourite Youtubers is Alfie Deyes ( PointlessBlog Vlogs ).  When I first started watching Youtube, I watched Alfie's main channel videos and vlogs, but th...

Ways To Destress

Hey everyone! This post is going to include different ways to help you destress and relax.  Obviously everyone is different, and may not find all these things destressing, but these things help me when I feel stressed, if I feel like I need a little break from what I am doing, or even if I am feeling a bit nervous.  I think taking time out to relax when you are stressed is so important, as it helps clear your mind.  When I was doing my exams, I feel like I didn't take enough time to relax, as I was so stressed and worried, I just felt like I had to revise all the time, which meant I got even more stressed out, but when I did take a break I would be thinking 'I need to be revising'.  So even if you just take 10-20 minutes to sit down, away from work, I think it still it helps. I feel that moving away from the place that you are feeling stressed in can help you unwind, for example if you are completing work at a desk, move from the desk and take time to chill out. ...

Liebster Awards - Discover New Blogs

Image
Hey everyone! This post is slightly different from my other uploads.  I was nominated to answer questions for the Liebster Awards by AnnieChanie , so thank you for the nomination Annie! Also, go check out her post and blog, which I have linked to her name.  I have been so excited to do this post and to be involved with this since I saw I was nominated, as not only to help others gain readers, but also to make new friends who all have a passion for blogging! The Rules:  1. Answer the 11 questions that your nominator has asked you 2. Nominate 11 other bloggers (with under 200 followers) 3. Ask your nominees 11 questions  4. Let them know you nominated them! Annie's Questions were: 1. Who is your favourite fictional character? I would say my favourite fictional character is Penny from Zoella's series of Girl Online.  I think she's my favourite as throughout the three books, Penny appears to be very relatable to teenagers.  2. Are you a night ...
